Speaking in South Africa, Ambassador Schoettler spoke with former South African President, Nelson Mandela.

Dr. Schoettler is Chairperson of the Board of Fischer Imaging Corporation and sits on the boards of Aspen Bio Pharma, A4S Security, and Masergy Communications, chairing the Nominating and Corporate Governance and the Compensation Committees of three public companies and serving on the Audit Committees of two companies. She also serves on the boards of four non-profit organizations.
